Overview:
The Solar Intern (Financial Modelling) plays a crucial role in supporting the financial analysis and modelling of solar energy projects. This position provides an opportunity to gain experience in developing and analyzing financial models for solar projects contributing to the overall success of renewable energy initiatives within the organization. We welcome to our Solar financial modelling Internship pls go through below details:
Internship Start date : April 29th 2024 (Monday). (Internship Offer letter & training material will be sent via mail).
Last date to Apply : April 27th 2024 (Saturday).
Duration : 02 Months (extendable if required by candidate).
About our firm :
Position name: Solar intern (financial modelling).
- Total internship min. duration: 2 months ( extendable if needed by candidate side).
- Training duration: 1 month ( mode: online). Candidate need to bear their minimum training charges.
- Recorded Training material access for 1 month will be given via google drive to candidates after registration to internship. LIVE session will be conducted for doubts clarification during the training.
- Project duration : 1 month ( mode: work from home).
- Work performance incentive will be provided to intern during 1 month project duration.
- Offer letter & Internship certificate to be given by the firm.
Training topics:
1.Introduction to Solar Insolation SPV plants components Energy units . 2.Solar Tracker efficiencies Tariffs Concepts.3.Carbon Credits.4.Solar Financing .5.Project Cost AD benefit Taxes Capital Structure.6.Goverment benefits in Solar Power sector.7.MAT Concept . 8.How to Calculate LCOE.9.IRR and NPV Calculation Concept.10.Financing types DSCRIPPBOOT etc concepts.11.Payback period ROIROEROCECalculation.Online Evaluation:After 1 month training completion candidate need to give online evaluation for entering in the second month internship work.
Interns role in the Projects:
1. The candidate will be shifted to project after 1 month training successful completion & evaluation done by team head . The project duration will be 1 month.
2.The candidate mandatory have a PC or laptop system with a good internet connection during training & project duration.
3.During project duration:
- Intern need to develop a solar financial model calculator on excel sheet for calculating the profitability of a solar power project.
- The intern need to talk & coordinate with our solar vendors/companies etc in Solar market and get necessary information related with solar plant components & financial related with the project. The candidate need to document all the data & send to team head.
- Intern need to coordinate with our solar plant design modelling team Sales & marketing team.
- Intern need to work daily as per his convenient timings via work from home & report to our team head on weekly basis or whenever asked by team head. Daily working 12 hrs is expected and good.
- Assist in developing and maintaining financial models for solar energy projects
- Conduct research and analysis to support project financing and investment decisions
- Collaborate with teams to gather data and inputs for financial models
- Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to stakeholders
- Assist in evaluating project economics and financial feasibility
- Support in risk assessment and sensitivity analysis for solar projects
- Contribute to market research and industry analysis for solar energy
- Assist in identifying and evaluating potential investment opportunities in solar projects
- Participate in financial planning and budgeting processes
- Support in optimizing financial performance of solar assets
- Assist in evaluating tax equity structures and financial incentives for solar projects
- Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in financial modeling for renewable energy projects
- Provide support in due diligence and financial audits for solar projects
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to accomplish project goals
Eligible Candidates :
- Pursuing or pass out commerce/finance/MBA candidates can apply.
- Pursuing or pass out B.E or B.tech (3rd or 4th year) in Electrical Mechanical Electronics Electronics and telecommunication and Power instrumentation field)
- Pursuing or pass out Diploma students in electrical/power.
- Pursuing or pass out Science background students.
- Candidates from any Solar Power related education stream or Candidates pursuing B.Voc (Renewable Energy ) Programs.
- Candidates from masters degree in renewable energy.
- PhDs candidates in renewable energy field can also apply.
