Software Inventory Manager

About the client:

Our client is a global leader in IT engineering and R&D (ER&D) services.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Endtoend software license management is to be handled.
• Every IT purchase request requires validation.
• Check the software allocation against the release of the PR and PO together with the relevant cost update.
• Additionally you must work with the relevant parties to ensure that license enrollment for utilization measures is finished.
• Organize uphold and monitor IT provision data to ensure that no duplicates are provided. Maintain & regularly update the master software list & track the renewal due along with the cost with advance notification to all the stakeholders to avoid any delays.
• Monthly report production and validation for software cost debits.
• Quarterly IT Software Cost Analysis: Dashboard preparation and publication are necessary.
• Management of daily SW license allotment wherever applicable.
• performing SW compliance audits and providing reports to confirm adherence to license terms.
• Create guidelines and protocols for the management of software assets.
• Collaborate with the project team finance procurement and other internal stakeholders.
• As needed maintain and evaluate the EULA and SW contracts.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• 5 to 8 years of experience in IT Operations (hardware and Software handling)
• Outstanding multitasking and problemsolving abilities in the field.
• Proficiency in managing IT software inventory and operating software compliance.
• Effective Written and Verbal Communication Skills.
• Capacity to create dashboards write reports and present to upper management.
• Overseeing organizational changes in an IT software strategy.
