Job Title: Software Engineering Manager
Location: Remote EST hours
Duration: 12 Months

Job Summary:
As a Software Engineering Manager you will lead the development of a system for storing coffee machines focusing on extensibility for future enhancements. You will be responsible for creating a class diagram to capture key aspects of coffee machines such as brewing units and grinders with provisions for future features like WIFI modules.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a class diagram to represent coffee machines considering extensibility for future functionalities.
  • Manage coach and mentor the technical workforce fostering a highly motivated team culture.
  • Collaborate with architects and product owners to optimize team capacity and address demands effectively.
  • Implement test automation frameworks like Cypress and Selenium to ensure software quality.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives creating a learning environment for team members to enhance their skills.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies conduct proof of concepts and manage vendor relationships.
  • Work on crossfunctional initiatives and products covering multiple organizations or business units.
  • Apply Agile principles and practices to deliver software solutions in a fastpaced environment.

Qualifications:

  • 7 years experience as a Software Engineer or Application Developer developing software solutions using technology such as C# .NET REST API design and development OOPs Angular/React.
  • Essential 2 years of experience with React GraphQL and containers along with expertise in API Management Tools and event streaming technologies like Kafka.
  • Demonstrated track record of managing coaching and mentoring technical teams for over 2 years fostering a highly motivated workforce.
  • Strong familiarity with Test automation frameworks such as Cypress and Selenium with a focus on software testing methodologies.
  • Proven experience in recruiting hiring and retaining technical talent coupled with a solid understanding of modern software engineering fundamentals.
  • Excellent leadership communication presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to work effectively with architects and product owners.
  • Proficient in creating a conducive work environment that motivates team members to have a real impact within their respective product teams.
  • Continuous learning and skill improvement advocate with experience in evaluating technologies and running effective technology proof of concepts.
  • Versatile in working on crossfunctional initiatives and products covering multiple organizations business units or countries.
  • Agile experience is preferred with a recognized servant leadership approach.
