What will you be doing

Join the dynamic software development team a crucial part of the optomechatronics research group.

Your expertise will be the driving force behind various research groups including optomechatronics quantum technology space systems engineering nano instrumentation and optics.

Youll take on the role of a software expert working independently on one or more projects. Collaborate with diverse disciplines such as control electronics optics mechanics and more as you delve into the exciting world of software for hardware. Your contributions will be at the forefront of shaping the technological landscape propelling us toward a future of endless possibilities.

Are you a pragmatic flexible and handson individual who thrives in a collaborative project team environment

Were looking for someone like you to be our software authority seamlessly navigating design decisions across various disciplines. Depending on your experience you may even take the lead in guiding fellow software developers.

What else do you bring to the table

• A university degree in one of the technical sciences.
• Over 5 years of fulltime experience in software development for hightech systems covering requirements specification architecture and implementation integration and testing.
• Fluent in Python C C and objectoriented programming. Youve leveraged these languages to develop multithreaded programs programs with hard realtime constraints and graphical user interfaces (GUIs).
• Handson experience with computer hardware operating systems and standard laboratory equipment. (Bonus points if you have experience with embedded platforms combining processor cores with FPGA.)
• The ability to swiftly grasp both specialized software topics and project domain expertise.
