Software Engineer - DevOps

We are looking for a motivated Software Engineer specializing in DevOps to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about automating and optimising operations processes has a strong background in software development and is proficient in cloud technologies specifically AWS. You will be instrumental in building and maintaining robust scalable and efficient software systems.

Responsibilities:

Develop test and maintain applications with an emphasis on system health performance and scalability.

Implement continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for a variety of projects.

Manage cloudbased infrastructure on AWS ensuring high availability performance and security.

Create and maintain environments using infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

Adhere to coding guidelines and best practices to ensure highquality code.

Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

Participate in code reviews contributing to the team s growth and ensuring coding standards.

Monitor and troubleshoot applications and infrastructure providing solutions to optimize performance.

Stay updated with emerging technologies and introduce improvements to existing systems.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.

Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g. Python Ruby Java).

Strong understanding of AWS services and experience managing cloud infrastructure.

Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform AWS CloudFormation).

Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins GitLab CI CircleCI).

Solid understanding of version control systems preferably Git.

Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

AWS certifications (e.g. AWS Certified Developer AWS Certified SysOps Administrator).

Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker Kubernetes).

Knowledge of scripting languages for automation (e.g. Bash PowerShell).
