Our core project at the moment is Polkadot a protocol designed to connect blockchains and allow them to interoperate share security and more. In addition we are supporting the development of a number of technologies that form the Web 3.0 tech stack such as decentralized messaging distributed storage or secret management.

Tasks

• Develop tools for monitoring the Polkadot blockchain and interacting with chain events
• Design and automate unit and integration tests
• Work closely with SREs to increase observability and reliability of services
• Participate in oncall rotation failure resolution and postmortem analysis

Requirements

• Proficient in the development of lean maintainable software (with a preference for Typescript and Node.js)
• Proficient in Linux
• Experience in REST architecture
• Familiarity with containerization databases and Open Source ecosystems
• Systematic and precise approach to problemsolving
• Selfdriven team player with a strong sense of ownership
• Strong verbal and written communication skills incl. the ability to produce clear and concise technical documentation
