Software Development Engineer in Test SDET

Job Title: Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain automated test scripts for software applications.
2. Collaborate with the development team to understand software requirements and design effective test strategies.
3. Execute test cases analyze results and report defects to ensure the delivery of highquality software.
4. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process and automation framework.
5. Participate in code reviews to ensure testability and adherence to best practices.
6. Design and implement test scenarios for functional integration and performance testing.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field.
2. Proven experience in software development and test automation.
3. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java Python or C#.
4. Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
5. Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g. Selenium Appium JUnit).
6. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
7. Excellent problemsolving and debugging skills.
8. Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

1. Experience with API testing and tools (e.g. Postman RestAssured).
2. Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g. Docker Kubernetes).
3. Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g. JMeter).
4. Understanding of agile development methodologies.
