Overview
The Software Developer plays a crucial role in our organization contributing to the design development and implementation of software solutions. This role is essential in ensuring the functionality and efficiency of our software applications as well as collaborating with crossfunctional teams to deliver highquality products.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a team of developers designers and system administrators to produce highquality software solutions
- Participate in the entire software development lifecycle from concept and design to testing and release
- Write clean efficient code based on software specifications
- Develop and maintain software documentation
- Conduct software analysis programming testing and debugging
- Troubleshoot debug and upgrade existing software
- Recommend and execute improvements to existing software applications
- Ensure software is updated with the latest features
- Stay uptodate with new technology trends
- Collaborate with other team members to establish objectives and design more functional cohesive code
- Participate in Agile methodologies for software development
- Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review
- Assist in improving the quality and security of software applications
- Provide timely solutions to software issues
- Develop and maintain technical documentation
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience as a Software Developer Software Engineer or similar role
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java C Python or others
- Experience with software design and development in a testdriven environment
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle including Agile methodologies
- Strong understanding of data structures algorithms and software design patterns
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent problemsolving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git Subversion)
- Experience with database management and SQL
- Knowledge of web development technologies (HTML CSS JavaScript etc.)
- Experience working with software testing and debugging
- Familiarity with software development tools and integrated development environments (IDEs)
- Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
