Qualifications

BS in Computer Science or related field or equivalency in related education and professional work experience

FinTech banking/lending experience is helpful

8 years of work experience in a software development role

4 years of experience in a combination of the following:

Cloudbased infrastructure AWS preferred Agile team DevOps and modern tech stacks

Demonstrated knowledge of microservices architecture application development lifecycle eventdriven and asynchronous architecture objectoriented design etc.

.NET Core C#; development of RESTful API services. Certifications and additional experience with languages such as Python a plus.

MySQL Dynamo or similar database experience

Azure DevOps and Pipelines; CI/CD a plus

Git or an equivalent distributed versioncontrol system / repo

Experience with or a willingness to learn to read COBOL and JCL code a plus

Proven ability to collaborate on designs estimates and delivery of complex development tasks while acting as a proactive team member in an Agile development environment

Creates clean and maintainable code following coding standards and secure coding requirements

Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Drives innovation and delivers highquality products that meet customer needs

Willingness to go beyond typical job duties to help the team meet sprint commitments

Proficient in verbal and written communication for both technical and business audiences

Continually enhance and share knowledge in application development best practices technologies methodologies and standards

Willingly acquires applies and trains others in new technical skills driven by business needs or technological advancements

As an experienced Software Developer youll work closely with product owners stakeholders and other talented developers to design and implement solutions. Youll develop test implement document and maintain high quality business systems software solutions using the latest programming languages frameworks tools and maintaining and improving the software. The individual in this position will take a lead role on complex initiatives and will mentor staff as needed.
