Software Developer

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in the entire application lifecycle focusing on coding testing and debugging
• Write clean efficient code based on best practices
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify system requirements
• Integrate userfacing elements with serverside logic
• Create reusable testable and efficient code
• Design and implement lowlatency highavailability and performant applications
• Ensure security and data protection measures are implemented
• Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
• Troubleshoot debug and upgrade software
• Produce detailed specifications
• Contribute to technical documentation
• Stay uptodate with emerging technologies
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate userfacing elements with server side logic
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field
• Proven work experience as a Software Developer
• Proficiency in Java Python or other programming languages
• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL PostgreSQL or SQL Server
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies
• Knowledge of version control systems such as Git
• Experience with software design and development in a testdriven environment
• Excellent understanding of code versioning tools
• Ability to document requirements and specifications
• Experience in designing and developing highvolume lowlatency applications for missioncritical systems
• Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple priorities
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Experience with cloud technologies is a plus
• Certification in relevant technologies is desirable
