Job Title: Software developer (Hybrid)
- Location: Lexington MA (Greater Boston Area)
- Hybrid (23 days/week onsite)
- Job Type: W2 Contract
Background:
The group is looking for designs builds and tests systems that improve safety and efficiency in the National Airspace System. The development of these systems often involves extensive software writing testing and integration requiring the services of contingency work
Must Have:
* Fluency in C
* Fluency in Linux/Unix OS
* Proficiency with computer networking including TCP/IP and UDP/IP communication
* Proficiency with multiprocessing and interprocess communication
* Multithreaded and Multiprocessor Applications
* Experience with revision control systems in general and Git in particular
* Software/Algorithm Development
* Software Documentation
* Object Oriented Software Design and Development
* Hardware and Software Integration
* Strong team communication
Nicetohave:
* Familiarity with the MODBUS protocol
* Experience with realtime processing systems
* Experience with aviation especially airport safety systems
* Experience developing parsers for decoding binary data streams
* Experience with radar data processing
* Proficiency with MATLAB
* C11 or later Stand Template Library Boost library
Work from Home:
This position is HYBRID. The individual will be required to be onsite 23 days a week. Candidates are expected to be local at the time of the start of the assignment. Final scheduled TBD by hiring manager.
Education & Experience: Bachelors plus 5 Years of relevant work experience.
Work Authorization: US Citizenship is required due to the nature of the work.
