Overview

A Software Business Analyst specializing in postsales plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful deployment of software solutions to customers. They act as the bridge between the software development team and the endusers contributing to the refinement and enhancement of products to meet customer needs. This position is integral to the organizations ability to deliver highquality customercentric solutions and drive customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand postsales business processes and requirements.
  • Evaluate customer needs and translate them into detailed software requirements.
  • Work closely with developers to ensure the successful implementation of postsales software solutions.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing and gather feedback for iterative improvements.
  • Analyze postsales data to identify trends issues and opportunities for optimization.
  • Provide postsales support and troubleshoot issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in training endusers on postsales software functionalities.
  • Participate in postsales project planning and contribute to timeline and resource estimations.
  • Document postsales processes and functionalities for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of postsales software solutions based on market feedback.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to drive postsales software enhancements and new feature development.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in postsales software solutions.
  • Participate in internal and external meetings to represent the postsales software perspective.
  • Support the sales team with postsales technical inquiries and demonstrations.
  • Contribute to the development of postsales support strategies and initiatives.

Required qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Business or related field.
  • Proven experience as a business analyst in postsales or customer support preferably in the software industry.
  • Demonstrated understanding of postsales business processes and customer needs.
  • Proficiency in gathering and documenting software requirements and specifications.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills to address postsales software challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in conducting user acceptance testing and gathering user feedback.
  • Familiarity with postsales support tools and systems.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple postsales projects simultaneously.
  • Understanding of software development methodologies and processes.
  • Knowledge of postsales customer engagement and support best practices.
  • Detailoriented mindset with a focus on delivering highquality postsales solutions.
  • Proven track record of customercentric outlook and delivering exceptional postsales support.
  • Ability to adapt to dynamic postsales requirements and pivot strategies accordingly.
  • Certifications in business analysis or relevant fields is a plus.
