Job Title : Social Worker FMLA Leave
Start Date: March 13 2024
Work Hours: 32.5 Hours per week
Caseload: less than 30 Elementary School Students
Job Details:
We are looking for a compassionate dedicated school social worker to assist in addressing the psychological and social wellbeing of our students. The school social workers responsibilities include providing information to students parents and school staff counseling students with personal and psychological issues. The school social worker will work with students in oneonone classroom or schoolwide sessions.
We are now scheduling interviews to take place THIS WEEK! This position will start on March 13 May 17 2024 with placement opportunities within the school district dependent upon performance once the assignment is complete.
Requirements
- A Masters degree in social work.
- A license and certification to practice social work.
- Experience in School Social Work may be advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassion and empathy for patients and students.
- Professionalism and discretion.
- Good relationships with relevant social services.
