Social Worker

Job role:

Our clinic is on the lookout for an empathetic Social Worker to help people solve and cope with problems in daily life. The job might involve working days, evenings, weekends, holidays...any stretch of time when a client might need help. Our ideal candidate has experience dealing with behavioural issues and interfacing with patients.

Responsibilities:

• Identify people in need of help through interviews
• Assess patient needs, desires and limitations to develop treatment plans and set goals
• Help patients adjust to changes in their life
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans based on data
• Document and maintain records on patient progress for reference
• Follow up with clients to ensure their situation has improved
• Ensures clinic compliance with local, state and federal regulatory laws
• Offer therapeutic assurance whenever requested, even if it’s after-hours help

Requirements:

• [X] years of experience working as a Social Worker or a similar position in the field
• CSWE-accredited Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or Psychology or Sociology mandatory; Master’s is a plus
• Ability to build and maintain working relationships
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent listening and communication skills
