Title: Snowflake Developer with Astronomer tool experience
Location: Cincinnati OH
Duration : Contract Role
Job Description:
- Strong understanding of Snowflake architecture design implementation and operationalization of largescale data and analytics solutions on Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse.
- Handson development experience with Snowflake features such as Snow SQL Snow Pipe Python Tasks Streas Time travel Zero Copy Cloning Optimizer Metadata Manager data sharing and Stored Procedures.
- Developing EL pipelines in and out of data warehouse using combination of Python and Snow SQL.
- Understanding data pipelines and modern ways of automating data pipeline using cloud based testing and clearly document implementations so others can easily understand the requirements implementation and test conditions.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Creation of DAGS in the Astronomer.
- Deploying DAGS from lower environments to higher environments.
- Expertise in setting up Internal and External dependencies of the DAGS in Astronomer.
- Expertise all of the concepts in Astronomer.
- Expertise in scheduling DAGS in Astronomer.
- Expertise in migrating Airflow DAGS to Astronomer.
- Experience with any scripting languages preferably Python.
- Experience with an DataStage ETL tool is an added advantage.
- Expertise in Prod monitors of Astronomer DAGS working on Incidents and Problem tickets and resolving them within SLA without rework.
