Position: Smart Grid Command Center(SGCC) Engineer
Job Description: 24+ Months
Location: Columbus, OH(Initial Remote till January 2023)
Infrastructure Process and Reporting
AMI Network Monitoring
DACR and VVO Network Monitoring
Identify and Troubleshoot poor or non-communicating network.
- Identify discrepancies between asset and radio configuration information vs. what the radio is reporting from the field.
- Analyze the information and determine the next steps.
- Create an Incident for the network asset or network device and assign it to the respective owner.
- Verify devices issues: dead, latency, or configuration.
- Monitor authorized and unauthorized access to assets - Radius server authentication reports will be referred.
- At intervals agreed with AEP, create, and publish the network performance and analysis reports.
