We are looking for Skid or Packaging engineerChennai Onsite with 4 to 6 Yrs of Experience for our esteemed client for Chennai Location.
Key Skills: Ancillary system Skid Engineering CREO Windchill
Note: Minimum Experience is 4 Years. Kindly do not apply if you don t meet the minimum experience.
Note: Candidate shall be willing to work at customer location.

Responsibilities
- Skid or Packaging engineering involves design and development of oil and gas and power generation equipment s and their auxiliary systems to perform the desired operations power plants and petrochemical Industries. These equipment is mainly purchased from external suppliers except Turbine; Solar fully owns turbines End to end design to aftermarket service.
- Team covers issues related to Field impact shop impact product improvement aftermarket new production and documentation & BOM issues etc. of Various Solar products.
- *These issues may be related to Mechanical Systems engineering Electrical controls and Instrumentation etc.
- Mechanical Investigation deals issues related to Packaging engineering Enclosures Ancillary system (Inlet and Exhaust systems to Enclosure and Equipment s . i.e. Involves Ducting) Driver train (Usually takes care by 3rd party supplier except Turbines)
Requirements
- Should have good knowledge about System Engineering Turbines and their Auxiliary systems Piping systems related to Turbine Compressor Motor Generator etc. Air cleaner and filter efficiency selections Pressure drop calculations for duct runs
- Selection of fans for each pressurization system according to pushpull system
- Should be able to Intercept P&ID.
- Good Knowledge about Instruments and their functions.
- Good Knowledge in GD&T American Industrial design codes and standards
- Experience in Creo Piping & PLM Windchill
- Prior Oil & Gas experience. 3 to 5 year relevant experience.
- Ability to assess quickly and make recommendations (rapid problem solving) regarding mechanical and system issues
- Good written & verbal communication and presentation skills needed. (He should present his ECR to Stakeholders)
