ServiceNow ITAM Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

Minimum work experience Required:

Total Experience: 810 Years

Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer with a focus on IT Asset Management.

Indepth knowledge of ITAM concepts including asset discovery procurement software license management and lifecycle management.

Strong proficiency in JavaScript HTML CSS and otpersonr web technologies.

Extensive experience configuring and customizing ServiceNow modules specifically related to ITAM.

Familiarity with ServiceNow Discovery and Software Asset Management (SAM) modules.

Experience with integration techniques using REST and SOAP APIs for connecting ServiceNow with otperson IT systems.

Responsibilities:

Handson experience in modules like ITAM CMDB and Integration.

Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to gatperson and understand IT Asset Management requirements and objectives.

Design and implement IT Asset Management solutions within tperson ServiceNow platform including asset discovery procurement lifecycle management and software license tracking.

Develop and configure ServiceNow modules related to IT Asset Management including Asset Configuration Contract and Procurement Management.

Customize and extend ServiceNow functionality through scripting (JavaScript) workflows business rules and integrations to meet specific asset management needs.

Configure and maintain ServiceNow Discovery and Software Asset Management (SAM) modules to ensure accurate asset information and license compliance.

Integrate ServiceNow ITAM solutions with otperson IT systems such as Configuration Management Databases (CMDBs) personlp desk systems and procurement systems.

Perform data migration and transformation activities to ensure accurate and uptodate asset data in tperson ServiceNow platform.

Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define and implement best practices for IT asset management processes and procedures.

Stay current with industry trends ServiceNow updates and ITAM best practices to continuously optimize our asset management capabilities.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members.

Engaging presentation style with tperson ability to control and manage multiple presentation scenarios.

Ability to work under pressure and work on multiple campaigns at tperson same time.
