Service Technician - Florida

We are now looking for an experienced and hands on Service Technician to join our Team in the US. The Service Technician conducts maintains tests and repairs safety systems including Fire Detection Gas Detection Navigation equipment and Emission monitoring systems.

Responsibilities:

Uses skills in restoring equipment to operation. The service engineer provides skilled mechanical and electrical/electronic support to all areas of Consilium procedures and products.

Troubleshoot repair and commission Consilium Safety systems including programmable controls numeral controls power supplies drives gauges and test equipment.

You will install start up and shut down equipment following company safety procedures for machine activation and shut down in line with OSHA requirements.

Provide accurate technical support and coordination to the organization in both written and verbal communication.

Assist in training coworkers and external customers when needed and perform additional duties as required.

Who are we looking for

Knowledge related to electrical/electronic and mechanical principles in determining equipment malfunctions.

Bachelors degree or minimum three years of proven service experience in the electrical/electronics fields.

You have knowledge of electrical/electronic components and equipment.

Previous experience and ability to work in a fastpaced technical environment is preferred. You are well organized and able to learn and work well in a team.

You are used to make accurate decisions often under pressure always with the costumer in mind. You operate efficiently and in the most economical way when arranging travel and lodging always staying within the quoted amount and a proactive attitude regarding safety. You contribute to accident prevention and safety awareness and keeps the workspace in a safe clean and tidy condition.

A valid drivers license

Salary:

$100000$130000 including overtime and travel allowance

Travel:

This position includes about 75% travel days
