Service Engineer

Overview:

As a Service Engineer you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful installation maintenance and repair of equipment at customer sites. Your expertise will be vital in providing technical support resolving issues and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install maintain and repair equipment at customer locations
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance
  • Identify technical problems and develop effective solutions
  • Provide technical support and guidance to customers
  • Respond to service calls and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical expertise
  • Document service activities including repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Train customers on equipment operation and maintenance
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Manage service parts inventory and replenishment
  • Contribute to product improvement through feedback and testing
  • Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions
  • Travel to customer sites as required
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Assist in product installations and demonstrations

Required Qualifications:


  • Proven experience in equipment installation maintenance and repair
  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities
  • Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
  • Proficiency in reading technical diagrams and manuals
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking capabilities
  • Effective communication skills both verbal and written
  • Experience with CRM or service management software
  • Knowledge of safety and quality regulations
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed
  • Certification in equipment maintenance or related areas (preferred)
  • Valid drivers license and clean driving record
