Service Delivery Support

As a Service Delivery Support you will play a pivotal role in contributing to the success of our internationally operating team based in Rotterdam. This entrylevel position is tailored for recent graduates with backgrounds in logistics supply chain chemistry or environmental science who are seeking their first or second job experience. As a key member of our team you will be the primary point of contact for national and international customers offering valuable assistance and guidance by phone and in writing. Your responsibilities will revolve around effectively managing daytoday operations acting as a crucial link between our sales team operational battery recycling services and integrated logistics partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the initial point of contact for national and international customers delivering exceptional advice and support.
  • Serve as the liaison between the sales team operational battery recycling services and logistics partners.
  • Provide customer support advice and monitor internal and external operational services within our portfolio.
  • Prepare calculations offers correspondence and presentations.
  • Take ownership of interface control and contribute to the ongoing development and optimization of our service processes.
  • Competently manage order management from entry to invoicing.
  • Engage in multicultural communication with customers service providers and internal stakeholders.
  • Plan and coordinate transports and small projects across Europe.
  • Handle purchasing and control of internal and external services with responsibility for performance and costs.
  • Monitor defined quality criteria of the transport business and service agreements.
  • Select and commission contractors and cooperation partners.
  • Manage service activities while considering waste and hazardous goods laws especially for batteries.
  • Identify possible gaps and irregularities proposing preventive and corrective actions to the team lead.

Requirements:

  • Successful completion of study in logistics supply chain sustainability chemistry and/or environmental science.
  • Experience or willing to learn the paperwork and permitting of waste logistics.
  • Experience or willing to dive in logistics planning and/or international customer project management.
  • Interested and keen with waste management.
  • Keen to learn about batteries is an advantage.
  • Serviceoriented mindset combined with independence flexibility and customer orientation.
  • Excellent communication skills both spoken and written in Dutch and English.
  • Proficiency in standard MS Office programs and IT systems.
  • Team player with commitment engaging manner conflict resolution skills resilience and assertiveness.
