Senior/Principal Engineer Seattle WA

Our client is currently looking for a talented Senior/Principal Environmental Engineer to help us succeed in the Puget Sound. As an industry and team leader this critical position provides an exciting chance to make a major difference by directing projects and promoting development in our Seattle office.
As a Senior/Principal Environmental Engineer you will play a critical role throughout the project lifecycle. Your duties will include scoping design permits specifications contract solicitation quality assurance detailed reporting project management and cost estimation.

As our Senior/Principal Environmental Engineer you will

  • Conduct rigorous quality checks on others work and provide professional technical advice to project teams clients and agencies.
  • Strategize schedule and manage projects ranging from simple to complicated all while interacting with clients and regulatory agencies.
  • Create and manage diverse project teams to meet project goals while fostering a collaborative working environment.
  • Use your industry skills to guide our growth initiatives and strengthen our core services in the Puget Sound.
  • Create project scopes timetables and budgets with accuracy.
  • Drive marketing and business development initiatives such as client contacts proposal production and effective presentations.
  • Engage in marketing activities such as client interactions proposal development and effective presentations.
  • Serve as a technical specialist and develop plan and perform research and/or analysis in issue areas with significant breadth and complexity.

To thrive in this role you must have

  • A bachelors degree in civil engineering from an ABETaccredited school.
  • At least ten years of relevant job experience.
  • A Professional Engineers License.
  • Understanding the local and regional market landscape is essential for steering and elevating business growth initiatives.
  • Knowledge about the Puget Sound market to aid and direct marketing activities.
  • A commitment to promoting and upholding Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) values.
  • Capable of serving as a project manager mentor and leader in collaborative team settings.
  • Proficiency in communicating with current and new clients as well as the ability to effectively drive marketing and company growth activities.
  • Technical expertise supported by strong organizational and problemsolving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities for successful customer engagements and business development.

Compensation Range: $120000 to $180000
