Senior zTPF Developer

Our client a leading Randstad company based in Washington DC is seeking a seasoned Senior zTPF Developer with a strong background in the travel industry. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in zTPF technology alongside proficiency in Web Services C/C MQ JSON/XML API and tools such as POSTMAN/SOA. Experience with Assembler/TPF Reservations Applications is highly desirable. This role requires a proactive individual with a proven track record in current applications development including TPFDF TOOLKIT and SDLC methodologies. Exceptional analytical skills effective communication and collaboration abilities are crucial for success in this dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain zTPF applications within the travel industry domain ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
• Utilize Web Services C/C MQ JSON/XML API and other relevant technologies to enhance and optimize system performance.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Assembler/TPF Reservations Applications contributing to the enhancement and evolution of reservation systems.
• Actively participate in the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC) from requirement analysis to testing and deployment.
• Collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams to gather requirements troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions.
• Conduct thorough analysis of system requirements and propose innovative approaches to address complex technical challenges.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends incorporating them into the development process to drive continuous improvement.
• Exhibit strong problemsolving skills and adaptability to quickly learn and integrate new tools and methodologies into existing workflows.
