Description:

Reporting directly to the CEO the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Finance and amp; Corporate Development holds a critical position overseeing Forecasting Financial Planning and amp; Analysis and Production Finance within the company. This role is tasked with establishing and implementing financial budgets forecasting and planning processes aligned with strategic initiatives. Collaborating closely with the CFO the SVP directs the organizations accounting practices and operations ensuring financial controls internal and external reporting regulatory compliance financial information systems oversight external audits and tax efforts. The ideal candidate possesses strategic foresight effective communication skills and the ability to guide decisions through financial analysis and logical reasoning.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management: Lead all aspects of accounting and finance functions including general ledger management financial reporting budgeting and financial modeling. Collaborate with the CFO and external audit firm to ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Strategic Financial Planning: Develop and implement financial budgets forecasting and planning processes to support the companys strategic initiatives. Evaluate financing activities including equity and debt to sustain ongoing operations and explore opportunities for inorganic growth.
  • Investor Relations: Partner with the CEO and founder to manage investor relations effectively providing transparency and strategic guidance to investors and stakeholders.
  • Operational Support: Maintain and enhance financial forecasting models analyzing operational projections and monitoring departmental performance. Lead annual budget planning activities and assist in setting company objectives.
  • Leadership and Team Development: Provide leadership mentorship and development opportunities to the finance team fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. Ensure staff members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to achieve organizational goals.
  • Tax Planning and Compliance: Support tax planning initiatives and ensure compliance with federal state and local tax regulations. Oversee tax filings including payroll property and other applicable taxes.
  • Process Optimization: Develop and maintain robust accounting processes and internal controls to enhance efficiency and mitigate financial risks. Continuously evaluate and optimize financial processes to drive operational excellence.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of 10 years of financial management experience preferably in media entertainment or production accounting.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP accounting principles and experience in financial reporting forecasting and modeling.
  • Proven track record in raising equity or debt along with managing investor relations.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Excellent analytical problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
  • Effective communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to diverse stakeholders.
  • Detailoriented with a focus on delivering highquality results within tight deadlines.
  • Commitment to upholding impeccable personal and business ethics in all aspects of work.
