Senior UIUX Designer

Senior UI/UX Designer for a longterm contract opportunity with one of our direct clients located in the Raleigh NC area.

$60/hr

USC/GC/GCEAD

*This position is hybrid
*Some local travel may be required

*prior state experience is a key

Responsibilities:Improve the applications into userfriendly products for our clients
Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product owners and engineers.
Illustrate design ideas using storyboards process flows and sitemaps.
Design graphic user interface elements like menus tabs and widgets.
Build page navigation buttons and search fields.
Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like.
Create original graphic designs (e.g. images sketches and tables).
Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders.
Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness).
Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback.
Adhere to style standards on fonts colors and images.
Required Skills:7 Years Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role
7 Years Proven experience working on a variety of design projects involving web based applications
5 Years Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Wireframe.cc and InVision)
5 Years Uptodate knowledge and hands on working experience of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
7 Years Ability to develop relationships/partnerships with customer by responding to needs and exhibiting a sense of urgency; independently identify options.
7 Years Ability to organize prioritize and follow complex and/or detailed technical procedures.
Desired Skills: 7 Years Business knowledge and experience implementing SNAP and other federal programs as per the policy requirements.
5 Years Experience designing applications using the social services products
4 Years Experience designing and/or developing dashboards using Power BI
3 Years Experience with Agile (Scrum Kanban or SAFe) development
2 Years Experience designing applications using low code no code technologies like Salesforce Microsoft dynamics and others.
2 Years Knowledgeable in DevOps practices and Shift Left testing
