Be part of our client s team as a Senior Transactional Accountant where youll manage various accounting and bookkeeping tasks for Australian clients ensuring timely and efficient delivery of services.

• Liaise directly with Australian and local Client Managers and the local team in the Philippines to assist numerous Australian clients with general accounting and bookkeeping requirements as outlined by various client scopes of services.
  
• Provide effective efficient and timely completion of a variety of general management accounting and bookkeeping tasks including producing recurring reports managing Payroll Workcover Superannuation and Payroll Tax preparing/verifying working papers updating Xbert templates and providing task overviews.
  
• Oversee Junior staff and their daily and endofmonth reconciliations of client accounts.
  
• Manage Junior tasks and ongoing session lists as required by the client s scope of services.
  
• Manage debtor and creditor ledgers including processing supplier batch payments.
  
• Attend to adhoc client queries and requests.
  
• Develop and enhance workflows along with updating and maintaining the client database.
  
• Review and oversee Business Activity Statements prepared by Junior staff including GST audits and reconciliations.
  
• Prepare Business Activity Statements where necessary including GST audits and reconciliations.
  
• Prepare Management Reports.
  
• Prepare yearend working papers for the Tax team.
  
• Prepare and process AU payroll and terminations.
  
• Analyze Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet: review all relevant GL items and identify variances errors and inconsistencies bringing them to the attention of the Senior Tax Accountant and correcting any discrepancies published by junior staff.
  

• Possession of at least a Bachelor s degree in Accountancy or a similar field.
  
• Demonstration of excellent English communication skills both oral and written.
  
• High level of organization selfmotivation exceptional attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
  
• Willingness to learn demonstrate initiative and be a positive team player.
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
  
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
  
• Understanding of the wider context of business applications for accounting information.
  
• Experience with Australian bookkeeping or taxation considered favorably but not required.
  
• Expertise/knowledge in using Xero or MYOB Accounting Software inventory software and accounts payable automation tools considered favorably but not required.
