Senior Technical Procurement Specialist Electronics

We are looking for a Senior Technical Procurement Specialist (Electronics) to become an integral part of our clients procurement team.

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in technical procurement specifically in the electronics sector.
• Proven track record of successful supplier management and cost reduction initiatives.
• Strong technical knowledge of electronic components and market trends.
• Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to form and maintain positive supplier relationships.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
• Proficient in ERP systems and MS Office applications.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across different departments.
• Fluency in English both written and spoken.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers of electronic components and materials.
• Conducting cost analyses and negotiating contracts to achieve optimal terms.
• Managing the supplier qualification process and ongoing performance evaluation.
• Ensuring the timely procurement of electronic components to meet production schedules.
• Maintaining uptodate knowledge of industry trends technologies and regulatory requirements affecting electronics procurement.
• Collaborating with Engineering and Quality Assurance teams to address technical and quality issues with suppliers.
• Developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with company objectives.
• Preparing and presenting reports on procurement metrics and performance.
