Senior Technical Business Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Business Analyst to join our clients team in DC. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Information Systems Business Management Systems Engineering or a related field or possess 4 years of relevant work experience.

• Experience in defining and documenting business process maps utilizing swim lane format where possible.
• Expertise in crafting business/functional requirements use cases user stories technical specifications test plans test cases test scripts and test results.
• Familiarity with a range of collaboration requirements testing and support methodologies.
• Strong grasp of Agile methodologies such as SCRUM/SAFE and related techniques.
• Ability to create and document Project Life Cycle Management (PLM) artifacts and key process steps specific to Amtrak.
• Proficiency in translating technical issues for nontechnical audiences.
• Capable of general troubleshooting for existing information systems or desktop applications to identify errors or deficiencies.
• Solid skills in Microsoft Office 365 suite including Outlook PowerPoint Word Excel Project and Visio.
• Experience with BA tool sets including Jira Confluence ServiceNow and Tableau.
