Here at Teamworx we are delighted to be recruiting a Senior Supermarket Duty Manager to join the team of a highly successful supermarket group located in North Dublin.

In this job as a Supermarket Retail Duty Manager you will have the opportunity to develop and refine your retail skills through onthejob training and mentorship and gain handson experience with an established supermarket team. The store is a vibrant and busy store that operates with high standards with a huge fresh food department and instore bakery and butchers. My client is looking for an enthusiastic individual with great experience in a retail grocery environment who is looking for the opportunity to get exposure in a topperforming supermarket group with the ability to progress to managerial positions within an awardwinning team.

Responsibilities for this Retail Grocery Duty Manager Job:

• You will work closely with the senior grocery shop manager to learn the process of placing orders using their back office and ordering systems.
  
• Understanding and implementing food safety and sanitation guidelines is essential.
  
• You will learn about proper handling storage and temperature control of fresh food and grocery retail items to ensure they are safe for consumption.
  
• Will be given exposure to people management leading and evaluating peoples work mainly within the grocery and retail departments providing training and direction to complete tasks.
  
• Collaboration and effective communication are essential to coordinate tasks address challenges and maintain a smooth operation.
  
• You will provide support in various operational aspects such as scheduling staffing and managing work shifts.
  

The ideal candidate for this Retail Grocery Duty Manager Job:

• Proven experience in a fastpaced management/senior supervisor position within a retail grocery convenience store or supermarket setting would be a distinct advantage.
  
• Experience in cash management till management and cash office would be an advantage but not essential.
  
• A clear communicator confident in leading teams to achieve results motivate and inspire your teams to reach new heights in their careers.
  
• Highly driven with a strong work ethic.
  
• Familiar and comfortable operating with budgets KPIs and targets.
  
• Passion for grocery retail and working with the general public
