Senior Software Engineer Level 3

NA has a client in Cincinnati OH that is seeking a Level 3 Senior Software Engineer to join their team on a 6month contract to hire basis.

Summary:

• We are seeking a versatile enthusiastic and friendly Senior Android UI developer for our team.
• Our design system enables rapid innovation consistent user experiences and designdriven development at scale.
• Our team exists for two major reasons: Consistency and Efficiency.
• This design system is a shared language that designers and developers use to create highly functional and visually cohesive products.
• The system allows for components to be created and shared across the enterprise preventing teams from duplicating effort and wasting time.
• The design Android library provides reusable components to application developers. In this way we strive to make the experiences of customers and employees easier and more productive.

Required Skills : * Extensive knowledge of Android themes and styles * Experience creating Android libraries for other developers to consume * Experience with Jetpack Compose * Knowledge of how to take advantage of Kotlin Flows in UI development * Experience with CI / CD for Android * Experience working on a multidisciplinary team including other developers as well as design and product management Desired Experience: * Experience using building and maintaining a design system * Any experience in system architecture * Demonstrated capability to build mentor and maintain an inclusive teambased environment Languages: * Java * Kotlin * SQL * XML/Compose * JSON * Other backend languages * Any shell script Tools and Concepts: * Android SDK * Android studio/Visual studio * Google Material Design * Git/GitHub * Databases like Room Database SQLite * Testing tools like JUnit Mockito * REST and SOAP services
