Position Summary:

The Senior Back End Engineer will play a crucial role in the development and optimization of our platforms serverside logic database management and infrastructure. With a deep understanding of backend technologies and architecture this individual will lead by example architecting scalable solutions improving system performance and ensuring high levels of security and data protection. This is a role for a creative and experienced engineer who is passionate about building robust efficient and scalable systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• System Architecture: Design and implement robust scalable backend architecture to support our platforms growing needs.
  

• Code Development: Write clean efficient and maintainable code for various components of the platforms backend.
  

• Database Management: Design and manage database schemas optimize queries and ensure data integrity and security.
  

• Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize system performance scalability and reliability.
  

• Security: Implement and maintain security protocols and data protection measures.
  

• Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers promoting best practices and innovative thinking.
  

• Collaboration: Work closely with frontend developers designers and product managers to ensure seamless integration and alignment with business goals.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
  

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in backend development with a proven track record of developing and scaling hightraffic applications.
  

• 2 years of experience micro engineering in Golang
  

• Deep understanding of server network and hosting environments.
  

• Solid understanding of data structures algorithms objectoriented programming and software engineering principles.
  

• Strong problemsolving skills with the ability to tackle complex challenges and deliver innovative solutions.
  

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills with a track record of working effectively in crossfunctional teams.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Postgres
  

• Recent experience in the IoT space
  

• Knowledge of Kubernetes and GCP
  

• Experience working for a startup
