Tasks

As a Senior Software Engineer at SolvencyAnalytics, you will be working in a close-knit team at the forefront of shaping our clients experience by creating new technology-driven businesses. A key responsibility will be designing our analytics and data processing framework for quantitative finance and risk management applications using leading open source technologies, and support a cloud-based technology transformation. We are looking for developers who enjoy working in a client-driven and agile environment and are confident developing low latency, scalable and resilient solutions within a passionate international team.

Requirements

• BSc, MSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or other technical related fields;
• Software development experience in one or more general-purpose programming languages;
• Hands-on experience with Cloud infrastructure technologies, ie general experience with providers like AWS/Azure, Virtualization technologies (Vagrant, Docker);
• Knowledge of container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, etc.) is a plus;
• Strong written and oral proficiency in English;
• Agile software development practices;
• Participated in MicroService-oriented projects;
• Entrepreneurial spirit, self-motivated and great team player;
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments is an advantage;
• Knowledge in any of the following web application-related development techniques is an advantage: Django, Jekyll, JavaScript, HTML, Markdown;
• Integration of data storage solutions of any of the following: MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL;
• Must already be legally permitted to work in the European Union. Applicants without valid work authorization for the EU will not be considered
