Job Responsibilities:
Lead/support tasks including preparation of site/civil engineering drawings specifications and reports for projects in the Hudson Valley and Connecticut.
Lead/support project management responsibilities including managing discrete tasks project schedule and budget.
Lead/support construction administration responsibilities including periodic site visits to active construction sites.
Daytoday project communication and coordination with clients and other design consultants.
Assist in and lead pursuits and proposal writing.
Provide direction delegation mentoring and training to staff engineers.
Essential Requirements:
510 years experience.
Bachelors degree in civil engineering
Strongly prefer NYS or CT PE (or the ability to obtain the PE licensure within 612 months of hire).
Experience with Westchester County Connecticut and/or local municipalities and agencies preferred
Must have a valid drivers license
Ability to manage and meet multiple deadlines
Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D is essential
Proficiency in stormwater modeling (e.g. HydroCAD StormCAD AutoCAD SSA FlowMaster etc.) preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Superior attention to detail and organizational ability
