Berg Propulsion working tirelessly towards sustainability and efficiency in the marine industry is currently seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Shipping Coordinator to join our dedicated logistics team. This exciting opportunity offers youdynamic challenges within global trade and logistics and the chance to help shape the future Berg supply chain by working towards efficient high quality and sustainable logistics solutions for the companys imports and exports. We are on an exciting growth journey and are scaling to meet the future demands for sustainable propulsion solutions in the maritime industry!

Role Description:

In the role asSenior Shipping Coordinator you will be basedat our office located on beautiful cker in the Gothenburg archipelago.

You will be responsible for daily followup and booking of international transports for both incoming and outgoing goods. The logistics teamserve the entire company and the role is highly operational. Yet we will also rely on your knowledge and expertise to help develop the logistics function and contribute to the strategic goals of the company. The person were looking toadd to the team has at least 510 years ofexperience with international transport andlogistics and preferably holds a bachelors/masters degree or similar within relevant fields. You also haveexperience from working in ERP systems and feel comfortable working in Excel and Microsoft Office.As a person we believe that you are organisedcurious and committed and that you enjoy working independently and upkeep high quality standards in everything you do.

We envision that your previous experience include complex supply chains and intermodal transport solutionstransport documentscustoms &documentation good understanding of delivery terms/Incoterms as well as knowledge related to payment terms and transport insurance. You also need to havebasic contract understanding and experience from working with letters of credit. If you also have experience from project logistics its considered an advantage. You will have a lot of contact with various departments within the company as well as our suppliers and customers to meet the need for effective and sustainable transport solutions. As a part of your daily tasks you will work together with forwarders suppliers and our various internaldepartments to find and realize synergies to lower costs and emissions resulting from our transports aswell as ensure that wedeliver the right goods to the right place at the righttime. Weexpect that you have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills and that you represent our values: team spirit respect accountability consistency and commitment. Its an advantage if you enjoy working in a dynamic and everchanging environment where you can put you problemsolving skills to use.
