Job Description:

Reporting to the PD Nemand 5eneration the Regional Marketing Manager collaborates with Sales to drive new business and expansion revenue growth in Japan. The successful candidate will be responsible for localizing marketing messaging content campaigns sales collateral and website copy. This role entails close cooperation with sales for effective prospecting followup on inbound leads and tracking key funnel metrics. The ideal candidate should have experience in supporting sales with outbound prospecting efforts in global organizations preferably headquartered outside Japan. The candidate must be a dynamic enthusiastic crossfunctional collaborator with excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English.

Responsibilities:

  • Localization: Work with global teams including Product Marketing to localize centrally created messaging and content. Ensure highquality deployment of localized messaging and content across various assets needed in the region.
  • Account Strategy: Collaborate with global teams including Product Marketing to understand Brightcoves ideal customer and target audience. Collaborate with Japan Sales leadership to align GTM strategy and target accounts with core strengths.
  • Supporting Sales: Ensure the Japan sales team has the latest messaging sales content competitive intelligence customer references and other essential sales collateral. Localize and enable the sales team as needed.
  • Customer References: Work with the Japan teams customer success manager to identify and interview Japanese customers willing to be customer testimonials. Collaborate with the global Customer Marketing team to get testimonials written translated into English and Japanese and posted on company website.
  • Local Events: Work with the Local Events team and other regional markets to identify events in any region beneficial to Japan. Collaborate with Japan sales teams to identify customers and prospects attending these events. Coordinate the Japan sales teams presence at events if needed.
  • Campaign Orchestration: Initiate create and execute local marketing campaigns predominantly online and digital such as email display advertising and content syndication.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Work with global Marketing Operations and Analytics teams to measure analyze and understand top middle and bottom of the funnel metrics. Present insights measure program effectiveness and validate strategy and spend.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Marketing Communications or a related field.
  • 8 years of marketing experience preferably in executing a localized GTM strategy in Japan for a global company especially in B2B software.
  • Ability to plan lead execute and deliver marketing programs and campaigns against lead and revenue targets ensuring all activities are integrated to achieve common goals.
  • Proven team player with successful collaboration with Sales and Marketing leadership in prior organizations.
  • Experience using Salesforce and Google Suite is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a virtual team consisting of HQ and regional members.
  • Keen attention to detail with strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong written verbal and presentation communication skills in Japanese and English.
  • Strong managerial maturity and ability to manage stakeholders expectations effectively.
