The Role:
We are looking to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team. Reporting to the Commercial Manager you will be responsible for main and subcontract negotiation commercial risk management financial project reporting developing employees commercial understanding and abilities agreeing terms and conditions with the supply chain and contractual administration.

The Person:
The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Quantity Surveying/ Commercial Management or equivalent. You will have a proven track record of working as a Quantity Surveyor ideally having a background in civils/ groundworks or high voltage electrical projects.
The successful candidate will have an indepth knowledge of construction contracts (ideally to include FIDIC and/or NEC contracts) and a good track record of contract management. You will have a strong understanding of budget and cashflow management and a proactive and initiativetaking approach to work tasks. You will have a professional demeanour and possess excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with ease.
Ideally the role holder will have advanced MS Office skills (more specifically Excel). The ability to learn bespoke systems quickly is required and experience of using Smartsheets would be beneficial.
