Senior QA Engineer

Amega Group is a growing fintech company seeking to hire a Senior QA Engineer to extend our talented team for working on the company website client area mobile app and other services.

As a Senior QA Engineer your role will be crucial in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will be leading a small but very professional QA team responsible for designing implementing and executing test plans as well as identifying and reporting any defects or issues. Your expertise in both manual and automation testing will be essential in maintaining the high standards of our software development process. You will have an opportunity to bring your ideas to live revisit existing test processes or build new ones.

Responsibilities:

• Leading the QA team

• Defining QA processes and best practices and developing them

• Implementing foundation for the tests automation

• Developing and executing test cases and test scripts to ensure the quality of software products

• Identifying documenting and tracking software defects and issues and working closely with the development team to resolve them

• Collaborating with crossfunctional teams to understand project requirements and ensuring test coverage

• Performing both manual and automated testing to validate software functionality performance and security

• Designing and maintaining test environments test data and test tools

• Staying updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field

• Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role

• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies tools and processes

• Proficiency in both manual and automated testing

• Experience with at least two popular testing frameworks such as Selenium Mocha Jest Jasmine or similar

• Experience with any of endtoend testing automation tools

• Familiarity with programming languages like Python JavaScript or C#

• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and in a team

• Understanding of API testing

Skills:

• Experience in load testing is a plus

• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills

• Be a good listener and communicator

• Proficiency in English language

• Russian language is a plus
