Senior Project Manager Civil Engineer

Job Summary:

The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for the management of multiple concurrent land development projects which may include residential commercial institutional industrial resort recreation infrastructure and attraction.

Senior Civil Engineer Project Manager Responsibilities:

Project coordination from inception to completion including due diligence planning entitlements civil engineering design regulatory permitting and approvals through local state and federal permitting agencies and construction administration support.

Project management tasks include budgeting scheduling coordination of outside consultants project tracking and project billing.

Prepare and oversee civil engineering design for site geometry grading drainage roadway water distribution wastewater collection/transmission parks and other civil improvements.

Prepare and oversee development of design drawings technical specifications reports cost estimates and other project deliverables.

Analyze technical information perform engineering calculations and advance design concepts into effective and financially feasible engineering designs.

Author technical reports such as due diligence reports feasibility reports design reports and technical memoranda

Provide technical support throughout all project stages from request for proposal through final design and construction.

Serve as Engineer of Record for various projects and/or project tasks.

Prepare and participate in client meetings and presentations.

Provide leadership and guidance for project engineers and design technicians.

Requirements

Senior Civil Engineer Project Manager Qualifications:

Bachelor s Degree in civil engineering or a related engineering field.

Florida Professional Engineering license.

Minimum 10 years progressive experience in design and management of land development projects.

Effective oral and written communication skills.

Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment.

Highly organized with good time management skills.

Sufficient familiarity with Microsoft Office AutoCAD Civil3D Water CAD Sewer CAD Storm CAD ICPR HECRAS and other engineering design software to allow effective communication and guidance of project design team.
