Senior Process Development Engineer

As a Senior Process Development Engineer youll be at the heart of our dynamic team driving the creation of these groundbreaking chips. Tasks

• Drive device and process module development working in a crossfunctional team
• Design plan and execute experiments for development of new processes and process flows
• Create DOEs and analyze electrical optical and process control data
• Perform metrology tasks such as SEM AFM or ellipsometry
• Engage in partnerships with suppliers to develop and qualify new production processes
• Document and present results

Requirements

• Master or PhD in physical sciences or engineering
• Minimum 3 years industry experience in Photonics/Semiconductor/Optics fields preferably in product/process development
• High proficiency in statistical data analysis for product development with knowledge of statistical data analysis tools (JMP) and/or Python/SQL
• Proven ability in coordination and management of own projects or complex tasks
• Comfortable working in a dynamic environment ready to deal with rapidly shifting priorities
• Solid interpersonal and communication skills and team working attitude
• Creative motivated criticalthinking and handson attitude with the drive to tackle hard challenges and with attention to details
• Fluent English (spoken and written) with strong verbal and written technical communication skills

Our recruitment process consists of three stages:

1. A 30 min. phone interview with our People & Culture team member to discuss your general career motivations and present our company and this role.
2. A 11.5 hour phone interview with 12 members of the hiring team to deep dive into the core skills requirements.
3. An onsite visit to interview with and meet many members of the team that you would be working in. This often includes lunch and gives you a strong sense of the company culture and individuals.

Then both parties take their decisions! We aim to complete all steps in one month but also allow for modifications to ensure both sides have a full picture of the skills and culture match to take the decision in an informed way.
