you will oversee the management and supervision of our pipeline services staff taking charge of project scoping engineering design specifications development plan signing and sealing permitting client management coordination with clients surveying and construction crews technical reports and project invoicing.
Responsibilities:
- Formulate project scopes and design guidelines for natural gas pipeline projects metering and regulating stations tapping facilities gas facility support structures and related work.
- Provide technical support engineering design and specifications development.
- Supervise the creation and management of gas pipeline construction plans and profile drawings station site plan drawings traffic control plans and details in accordance with standards/specifications.
- Undertake specialized design assignments of a complex nature.
- Manage pipeline services staff to ensure the timely and budgetfriendly delivery of highquality products and services to customers.
- Conduct project reviews to monitor service quality to the client providing updates and decision items.
- Coordinate project permit procurement with various entities such as cities counties TxDOT and other utility regulators.
- Support the Managing Director in marketing client relationship management proposal development and project scheduling.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- An undergraduate or masters degree in civil or mechanical engineering from an ABETaccredited university.
- Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Texas.
- Seven (7) to ten (10) years of related experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Experience in staff management.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of natural gas industry design codes and standards.
- Professional integrity sense of responsibility and accountability.
- Experience leading developing and mentoring project engineer task leaders designers and project administrative personnel.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with a commitment to safety.
- Thrives in a fastpaced demanding environment.
- Strong communication skills both orally and in writing.
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
- Strong planning and organizational skills
