We are hiring a Senior Physiotherapist Respiratory in a Private Hospital in Cork
Responsibilities
- Strength to operate with adaptability and flexibility in a multidisciplinary team.
- To be responsible for the operational running of the physiotherapy service on the respiratory ward and special care unit (medical high dependency unit) and other medical respiratory patients
- To work closely with other team members to develop the service further and be a clinical resource for other physiotherapy team members.
- To be responsible for assessment treatment planning and appropriate discharge of patients in the medical respiratory and rehabilitation aspects of care.
- To liaise with relevant medical HSCP and physiotherapy teams to deliver optimum care to patients.
- To ensure the maintenance of accurate and timely patient records for physiotherapy interventions including assessments outcome measures and activity data.
- To provide advice teaching and instruction to relatives carers and other professionals as indicated.
Requirements
- Enrolled in the general Division of the NMBIs live nurse registry
- A management qualification is essential.
- A minimum of 3 years postregistration experience in respiratory is mandatory.
- A postgraduate in respiratory.
- Must have CORU Membership
