Job Description: We are looking for an experienced PHP backend developer to join the Evotym client team working on blockchain fintech product.

Location: Remote (CET) Engagement: Fulltime

Tasks

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the System Architect to develop and integrate core functionalities as outlined in the project plan.
• Design build and maintain scalable and efficient microservices aligning with architectural visions.
• Uphold high coding standards by adhering to design patterns SOLID principles and DRY methodology.
• Execute complex queries and manage databases ensuring data integrity and performance.
• Implement and manage RabbitMQ message queues to enhance application scalability and reliability.
• Stay abreast of and engage with emerging technologies particularly showing an interest in blockchain technology.

Requirements

Technical Stack:

• Languages: PHP 8
• Frameworks: Symfony
• Databases: PostgreSQL with experience in complex queries and database replication strategies
• Architecture: Microservices with a focus on scalability and efficiency
• Tools: Doctrine for objectrelational mapping RabbitMQ for message queuing
• Additional: Familiarity with data warehousing solutions and interest in blockchain technology

Requirements:

• At least 6 years in developing applications with Symfony and PHP 8 and managing largescale microservice environments (10 services).
• Advanced skills in PostgreSQL Symfony framework and containerized environments.
• Strong problemsolving skills with a creative approach to tackling complex challenges.
• Excellent communication skills in English for articulating technical concepts to nontechnical audiences.
• Ability to work effectively in crossfunctional teams and demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning.
