We are urgently seeking Senior Pharmacist for a private hospital in Westmeath Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsibility for managing stock supply rotation disposal and minimizing wastage falls under this role.
- Maintaining accurate records of all medications and intravenous fluids is essential
- administration of medications and ensuring the safe appropriate and costeffective use of medicines.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide and promote highquality costeffective patientfocused pharmaceutical care that prioritizes safety.
- promotion of safe drug usage
- Responding to medication related queries
- Liaise with other fellow healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of safe effective and economic drug treatment.
- Ensure all details of dispensing conform to legal requirements and professional standards in the provision of medication to the departments in CMPH.
Requirements
- Registered Pharmacist with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI) or eligible for registration
- Hospital experience is essential
- must have the necessary knowledge and skills to fulfill the responsibilities of a Pharmacist effectively.
- A minimum of 3 years of postqualification experience in a hospital pharmacy (preferred) and/or community setting is required for this position
- Effective communication skills and a commitment to quality in all tasks and work practices including accuracy and attention to detail are essential qualities for the ideal candidate.
