Our important client is currently looking for a Senior .net developer for a 12month contract based in Brussels. Day rate is negotiable.
Please find the spec below :
Analyst/Developer standards so the HR Analyst/Developer function description shall apply as well (see attached). Of course the mentioned Specific/conformity requirements shall override any conflicting information that is in the Analyst/Developer function description
Used to Agile way of working
Write clean efficient and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
Participate in code reviews providing and receiving feedback to ensure high code quality and
adherence to coding standards.
Knowledge of all aspects of the software lifecycle from goal definition requirements analysis design to production
Good analytical skills and ability to come up with pragmatic solution
Problemsolving and risk management capabilities.
Good communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Proactive and passionate about software development
Knowledge about ITIL is a plus more specifically about incident and problem management
Good allround knowledge about networking/firewalls
Requirements
Specific/conformity requirements
The contractor needs to live in Belgium and be able to come on premise up to 5 days a week.
Fluent in English notions of Dutch and/or French is a plus
4 years experience in the railway industry
7 years experience in the field of .NET development.
2 years relevant experience with following technologies:
SQL databases: writing SQL queries/SQL Server Management Studio o .NET development (C#) especially REST API .NET 6
Message streaming platforms (Kafka...)
Bitbucket/Jira/Confluence
Strong knowledge and 4 years experience in Unit Testing.
2 years experience with Azure DevOps.
2 years experience with Azure Kubernetes Service
2 years proficiency in Web development concepts.
2 years experience with Web services (WCF/SOAP and Web API/REST)
2 years experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence.
