Role and Responsibilities:
As a Senior MS SQL DBA your responsibilities will include:

• Managing SQL Server databases through multiple product lifecycle environments from development to missioncritical production systems.
• Configuring and maintaining database servers and processes including monitoring system health and performance to ensure high levels of performance availability and security.
• Applying data modelling techniques to ensure development and implementation support efforts meet integration and performance expectations.
• Independently analysing solving and correcting issues in real time providing problem resolution endtoend.
• Refining and automating regular processes tracking issues and documenting changes.
• Performing scheduled maintenance and supporting release deployment activities after hours.
• Sharing domain and technical expertise providing technical mentorship and crosstraining to other peers and team members.

Candidate Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess:

• 5 years of MS SQL Server Administration experience (Senior).
• Experience with SQL Server 2016 and above.
• Knowledge of PostgresRDS and other AWS services would be a nicetohave.
• Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO).
• Experience with backups restores and recovery models.
• Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server.
• Experience working with Windows server including Active Directory.
