Senior Medical Copywriter fmd

Clariness is looking for a (Senior) Medical Copywriter (f/m/d) based in Berlin Hamburg or remote within Germany or UK.
Fulltime; unlimited

Tasks

As a (Senior) Medical Copywriter you would be responsible for:

• Reading and understanding study protocols incl. protocol amendments patient populations and indication.
• Developing patient personas for different therapeutic areas/indications to help the development of content creation.
• Translating complex scientific concepts and protocols into easily understandable language for lay audiences create HCP/sites and patientfriendly materials.
• Creating content for study materials (print materials websites etc.) based on clinical trial protocols explain the purpose design and significance of a clinical trial.
• Tailoring content to different target audiences and adapt the tone and level of technical detail to match the knowledge and needs of the intended readers (i.e. healthcare professionals patients etc.)
• Editing copy and performing quality checks (QCs) to ensure accuracy and consistency proofread materials to minimize errors.
• Implementing client feedback and discuss feedback with the client.
• Managing and prioritizing copyrelated tasks from multiple projects/studies based on deadlines ensuring content is delivered on time and meets quality standards.
• Collaborating closely with graphic designers to contribute ideas for creative concepts/study identities.

Requirements

We would like you to have:

• Experience in Medical Copywriting with a Portfolio and/or example of work.
• Bachelors degree in a scientific field of study like Healthcare Life Sciences or similar field; (Scientific) Journalism is a plus.
• Ability to write (scientific/medical content) and adapt texts to various target groups such as patients healthcare professionals and pharma companies as well as having the skill to translate science into marketing and patientfriendly content.
• Solution and detailoriented communicative as well as structured handson personality.
• Microsoft Office Suite Adobe InDesign is a plus.
• Excellent English skills.
