We are seeking an experienced team member to join our engineering and product development team. Candidates are sought with at least five years experience (ten years a plus) in the field of engineering and developing consumer commercial and medical products working on all aspects of the product development life cycle from development strategies through fastfail prototypes engineering concept development and ultimately designing complex assemblies in collaboration with electronics engineers and industrial designers to create complete engineering packages for manufacturing. Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Five years experience (ten years a plus) in the field of engineering and developing consumer and medical products
- A minimum of a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or Product Design Engineering is required for this position.
- Candidates must demonstrate aptitude for rapid creation of innovative mechanical solutions (structures and mechanisms)
- Familiar with all common prototyping and manufacturing materials and processes
- Highly experienced with SolidWorks best practices in solid modelling surface modelling assemblies drawings and design for manufacture
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Clientfacing project management experience is highly preferred
- Consulting / Agency experience is highly preferred
- Experience with medical product development a plus
- Experience with electronics integration is preferred
