With commitment to authenticity Kibo Foods headquartered in Austin TX is a wellfunded startup that ensures every product it delivers is a source of essential proteinrich nourishment and embraces the vitality of plants. It offers consumers satisfying and guiltfree chickpea and lentil chips product lines that are highly nutritious and flavorful with six different flavor options. The company’s products contain 67 grams of plant based protein which makes them a GOOD SOURCE of protein and also has other nutrients such as fiber. They are baked nonGMO glutenfree and koshercertified products making a delicious and healthy choice for vegans and healthconscious individuals.

What You Will Do

As the Senior Marketing Manager you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing strategic initiatives overseeing budgets and setting objectives for the agencies collaborating with Kibo. This position ensures the consistent delivery of our brand message across Kibo's omnichannel presence. In addition the Senior Marketing Manager conducts thorough analyses of consumer behavior market trends and the competitive landscape to ensure Kibo's products and product lines resonate with both current and potential customers. Kibo is looking for continued growth and success within its already strong eCommerce efforts as well as some focused growth in building its brick and mortar presence in the US. The Kibo team is very close and we are looking for someone who will treat the company as if it were your own taking ownership of your role and contributing to the overall success with a sense of commitment and dedication.

Responsibilities

  • Direct retail and digital marketing efforts and ensure excellence in the customer experience including standout POS materials.
  • Lead with innovative growth strategies and collaborate on a New Product Road Map.
  • Turn brand elements into impactful gotomarket strategies for the retail and eCommerce business.
  • Be a key player on our small team of company leaders contributing significantly.

Who You Are

You are a strategic thinker with a strong desire for continuous learning and growth. Your expertise lies in retail marketing specifically within the food/beverage and consumer goods domains. You possess an excellent grasp of the full marketing mix understanding the intricacies of the retail landscape market trends consumer behavior along with being successful in executing eCommerce growth strategies. With a proven track record in identifying target audiences and creating engaging campaigns you showcase creativity and proficiency in analytical platforms and tools. Your evidencebased mindset allows you to work with metrics and leverage datadriven insights to optimize marketing strategies and prioritize goals. You have the ability to see both the big picture and the details combining strategic thinking with handson capability. Aesthetic sensibility a love for impactful copy and exceptional communication skills characterize your approach. You thrive in collaborative fastpaced environments making you a valuable asset to any team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in marketing in Food/Bev/CPG industry
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
  • Experience in and a desire to work on a small team in a startup environment
  • Proven track record of increasing customer conversion through targeted and accurate campaigns
  • Deep knowledge of industry trends platform trends and competitive positioning in the CPG industry
  • Passion for the betterforyou space and sustainability in sourcing & production

Benefits

  • 120 hours of vacation time per calendar year (15 days)
  • 7 holidays in the calendar year
  • Eligible to enroll in health insurance after 60 days of employment; it will begin the first day of the following month. The company pays for the employee base plan
  • 401(k) eligible to participate in the company plan after one year of employment in the next available quarterly enrollment; discretionary annual match.
