Overview:

The Senior Manager Vendor Management plays a vital role in overseeing the organizations relationships with vendors and ensuring that the company receives highquality goods and services at the best possible prices. This position is crucial for maintaining strong vendor partnerships and optimizing procurement processes to drive efficiency and cost savings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement vendor management strategies and processes
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors
  • Monitor vendor performance and conduct regular vendor assessments
  • Identify costsaving opportunities and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to align vendor management with organizational goals
  • Resolve vendorrelated issues and disputes effectively
  • Oversee vendor risk management and compliance with company policies
  • Lead and develop a highperforming vendor management team
  • Ensure timely and accurate vendor payments and invoice processing
  • Prepare and present vendor management reports and performance metrics to senior leadership
  • Participate in vendor selection and evaluation processes
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and market trends in vendor management
  • Establish strong relationships with key vendors and suppliers
  • Contribute to the development of vendor management policies and procedures
  • Lead vendor contract renewal and renegotiation efforts

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management or related field
  • Proven experience in vendor management or procurement with at least 8 years in a leadership role
  • Demonstrated ability to drive cost savings and process improvements through effective vendor management
  • Strong negotiation skills and contract management expertise
  • Excellent strategic planning and decisionmaking capabilities
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team of vendor management professionals
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in vendor performance evaluation and risk assessment
  • Solid understanding of supply chain dynamics and vendor relationship management
  • Analytical mindset with problemsolving abilities
  • Experience in managing complex vendor portfolios across multiple categories
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements in procurement and vendor management
  • Proficiency in using vendor management software and tools
  • Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced and dynamic environment
  • Certification in procurement or vendor management is a plus
