Educational Requirements:

• The Senior Logistics Manager shall have a Masters degree in a logistics related field.

Work Experience Mandatory:

Experience Requirements:

• The Senior Logistics Manager shall have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in conducting logistical tasks for commercial or government organizations.
• Logistical tasks include knowledge and experience of a broad range of policies procedures and techniques related to inventory management in order to determine requirements position/reposition items initiate procurement schedule maintenance and repair of items and dispose of others.
• Knowledge and experience of specialized methods and techniques used to analyze and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of supply programs and/or operations.
• Knowledge and experience of the organization regulations policies and procedures of Coast Guard supply systems in order to accomplish material coordination responsibilities and make valid material management decisions.
• Knowledge and experience of the technical features and uses of assigned equipment and their relationship to supply and demand condition in order to successfully manage items coordinate supply/program support and resolve supply/program support problems. Knowledge and experience of provisioning transportation storage cataloging maintenance repair and disposal in order to perform material management processes and make material management decisions.
• Additional Required Knowledge and Skills: In addition to the educational and certification requirements the Senior Logistics Manager shall clearly possess the following knowledge and skills:Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of applications (e.g. Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook Teams SharePoint)

Work Experience Nice to Have:

• USCG Experience in IT or Logistics; alternatively Navy experience

Roles And Responsibilities:

Description of Work:

• The Senior Logistics Manager shall perform all the duties functions and responsibilities of the Logistician III.
• In addition the Senior Logistics Manager shall serve as Team Lead to maximize the capabilities of each individual member of the Team to meet requirements.
• The Senior Logistics Manager shall serve as Team Lead for task organizing.
• The Senior Logistics Manager shall serve as the primary liaison between the Government and the Contractor to ensure all tasks are prioritized completed on time and of the highest quality.
